Parenting Mediation

A process which provides parents who are separated or contemplating separation with the opportunity to work out mutually agreeable and child-focused parenting arrangements for their children.

Parenting mediation is an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) process which provides parents who reside separately or who are contemplating separation, with the opportunity to negotiate mutually agreeable parenting arrangements for their child(ren). Parents with an existing parenting plan, separation agreement or court order may also benefit from this process if they are in conflict over existing agreements and/or if  their child(ren) has/have outgrown existing arrangements, e.g. parenting schedules.

The focus in the mediation process is to find solutions based on the needs and best interests of the child(ren).
